ROSE POINT COMMUNITY BEACH RULES (updated June 2020)
Members Beach Rules:
-
Lock beach property after use and also when you leave by boat for any extended period of time.

Clean up the entire property after use, including micro litter.

Pick up after your dog immediately and make a sweep of the entire property as you leave.

Last one at the beach on Sunday, please take trash, recycle and compost bins up to the street.

At least one owner must accompany guests at beach at all times.
-
Owners must be 14 or older to accompany guests at beach.

Guests and all children under 18 must be able to swim or wear life jackets; there is no lifeguard on duty so swimmers swim at own risk.
-
Boats are not allowed to be tied to the dock overnight.

Members may tie up to the dock to load and unload passengers and to provision (please give consideration to other users and limit your tie-up time).

Guests may tie up to the dock to load and unload but only under the supervision of a member.
-
Keep kayaks, inflatables, and other large objects up off the grass at all times.
-
Keep paddle boards, row boats, etc. lined up on north fence area by the “zigzag.”
-
Put all toys, lifejackets, paddles, etc. away after use (bin provided) or, better yet, take them home.

Advance reservations are required to reserve the beach for private parties (see "calendar" tab above). No reservations will be accepted on holiday weekends.

Reserved parties are given priority use of all BBQs and two large picnic tables for approximately 4 hours.

Reserving the beach for a party does not mean other members are not allowed access. However, other members should respect the private nature of a reserved function.

Adult must be present at all times.

Boat moorage is NOT guaranteed with club membership or home ownership.

Adherence to city noise ordinance; quiet hours from 11pm to 7am.
-
No underage consumption of alcoholic beverages.
Renting Members Beach Rules (renters are allowed to use the beach property with the additional restrictions and stipulations):

Renter must sign a copy of these listed rules prior to receiving keys to community beach.

Renters are not eligible to own or use a buoy.
-
Renters are not allowed to reserve the beach for private functions.

Renters are not allowed to store paddle boards, kayaks, tubes or any personal items at the beach. Please take them home after each use.

Only 1 guest family (~4 persons) at a time.
-
A renting member must accompany guests at beach at all times per member rules.
-
Renters are not allowed to have guests tie up to dock or buoys at any times.
Fire Pit Guidelines:

If burn ban is in effect due to poor air quality; beach bonfires are prohibited. You can use this resource; https://www.airnow.gov/?city=Kirkland&state=WA&country=USA

Use of lighter fluid is prohibited in lighting the fire.

Any minors (under 18) without an adult present should have no more than ten people.

Ensure the fire is completely out before leaving (look for provided bucket to dump lake water over fire before leaving the area.

In accordance with city noise ordinance (quiet hours from 11pm to 7am) there will be no fires past 11pm on weekends and 10pm on weekdays.
